PM Promises to Spend Money on Public Good

KANDAL: Prime Minister Hun Manet said that the government is not afraid to spend money to protect the interests of the people, noting that their lives matter.

He reminded a crowd of nearly 20,000 factory workers about the government’s contribution in Covid-19 relief and providing free vaccines under the leadership of his father, former Prime Minister Hun Sen.

He said that his administration’s commitment to the people would be the same. “Taking care of the people is important," he said.

He also announced the provision of free buses for the Pchum Ben festival for those wanting to return home for the holiday from October 13-15.
